Over the years when we used our motorhomes for numerous football games in Pittsburgh we were constantly winterizing/de-winterizing and dumping lots of water and anti freeze. It was a pain and often being done in the dark after returning home.
Something we did to save a few dollars on RV anti freeze was to use windshield washer solution in the traps and toilet with some for the holding tanks also. Never had any issues and saved some money in the proccess.
Now we spend winters in the south and don't worry about winterizing.
