I have thought that if we were to replace ours the closest thing would be a second hand rental--those 19 footers, or a View, once they get old enough to be less expensive.
So many people need the bed so it makes sense to build most of them that way, but if you are not suffering from physical ailments, the loft bed is really comfortable (with a topper) and the close dinette seats make it easy to climb up and down with a stool on the bench.
We have done our share of tail dragging on back roads and we have rattled the poor thing to loose screws, but our overhead seems to have stayed dry and we continue to get back where few longer rigs can go.
I do not regret getting into this little RV at all. We bought it in December 2009, so 4 years of fun so far! Actually we bought it from a couple who lived in Colorado and retired to Arizona, but were still going back and forth. They were wanting a bigger rig for health reasons too.
