Mixing oil types (5w-20 mixed with 10w-30)
My RV has the ford v-10 in it and I noticed today the oil is closer to the "low" level than the "full" level on the dip stick. I have a few quarts of 10w-30 (might be 5w-30) but I was going to top it ...

You are probably right but, I would not start a 3-4 hour trip knowing I was low on oil.
Especially, if you have the oil with you. I guess it's just me.. :)
