Mixing oil types (5w-20 mixed with 10w-30)
My RV has the ford v-10 in it and I noticed today the oil is closer to the "low" level than the "full" level on the dip stick. I have a few quarts of 10w-30 (might be 5w-30) but I was going to top it ...

I would add enough to bring oil up off a low and WHY is oil that low to begin with!
I just picked it up today. First day of having it in my hands, trust me it will not be low or not maintained once I get home from where I bought it. I just want to make sure that it's gonna be ok to drive it 400+ miles as it is. To many mixed answers to decide, so should I add the oil tomorrow so it's not to low or keep it as is? If it wasn't thanksgiving I would go to get it changed.
