- davepcpowernetExplorerYep
- avantiExplorerYeah, but I don't have a layout in my van. Yet. ;)
- Johno02ExplorerOn a recent trip to Gulf Shores, this museum was one of the two high points of a two-week stay. Rest of the time, (last week of Feb, first week of March) was cold, wet, windy, and generally miserable. The Museum, as I said was a high point. The "Caboose Club" member that were so generous of their time and knowledge were really great and worked hard to make us all welcome, and to show off the layout with all its features. If you are down that way, make a point to see this exhibit, and meet those that are taking wonderful care of it. (Sounds like they are really dedicated I know, but they are a great bunch having the time of their lives!)
- Johno02ExplorerAnd they didn't put us down ever if we were driving a class A. They probably let Cs in too.
- DavyddExplorerMove to Sun City, AZ. They have a model train club and facility to die for. :)
- 1775ExplorerYes. We have a layout in the basement. With a little ingenuity, one could set up an N scale track to run along the ceiling in a Class B...
- RoyFExplorerAnother great model trail museum is in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, and there is a real train museum not far away.
- Jim_CarolynExplorerHey Peter, Nick in currently in the process of opening up a model train store.
Jim - charlesExplorerYes Peter. We cancelled our reservations for the Rally as we are in the midst of opening Nick's Vintage Trains & Treasures. It's strange that the subject never came up between us at the rallies over the years. I have quite an inventory of vintage trains and am now a Lionel and MTH retailer too. If I'm not allowed to say that please remove it.
Nick
