Monaco Diesel Pusher adding oil

On the 02 Monaco with the Cummins engine the place in the rear where the dip stick is at. Is that the only place to add oil the book shows a cap on the top of the engine, which is only accessible through the bedroom. The port on the rear had to be signed by a engineer why they could not have added a few more inches to that pipe i can not figure out. I know that has to be the only place to add your oil probably but if I am missing something please let me know

    All I know of, have a rear fill and then a cap on the engine valve cover. With mine, it's easy, either way, with not having the radiator in the way.

    The fill tube on my Holiday Rambler has a sleeve on the tube so it can be pull out to make it easier to add oil.
