Keep an eye out for a Travco. The rounded shape will produce less wind resistance and you'll have less strain on the drive train. I'd take a 318 over a 360 anytime, btw.
We had a 360 in a 22' Winnebago when I was a teen. In a strong headwind, Dad had to keep in floored just to maintain 50 mph. In normal circumstances it wasn't too bad, though.
