The HD chassis based on the Econoline aren't going anywhere yet. The Transits will only replace the E150, maybe nudge into the 3/4 ton class.

One aspect I don't care for on the Transit is the narrow dually axle ala Sprinter. Narrow axles are desirable for urban use and even offers it now on the F59 chassis. But I prefer a wide-track rear axle for RV use.
