Motorcycle hitch carrier

I was considering one of the motorcycle lifts for the back of my RV to carry my Harley Road King. After talking to a friend who had one, he was getting rid of it because of the damage it was causing to his bike. Remember that there is a wind pocket in that space behind the RV and anything on the road...dirt, rocks, trash, etc....gets picked up and swirled around in that wind space. If there's something in that space...say a motorcycle...then it's going to get pummeled by the debris and eventually you'll have a nicely sandblasted paint job. I decided on a lightweight enclosed trailer. Costs about the same, and MUCH better protection for the bike. Plus, it gives extra storage space if needed. Just what I decided and why.....
