Most storage lots (All as far as I know) make you sign a Hold Harmless that absolves them from anything and everything.
A good lawyer can explain the value of those documents to you.. (I can not).
But my understanding is that you really need to check with a pro.
That said.. You can turn it in to your insurance.. and let them do the legal work.
