The Ambassador has the Cummins ISC engine, not the ISB. It's an 8.3L rated at 330HP, 1000lb/ft torque.
The American has the Spartan Mountain Master chassis, not the Liberty. Fleetwood announced Freightliner would be building the Liberty chassis in October 2003.
As to the delamination, maybe not in SoCal, but around here it's a pretty big issue. :B
