If you want HD, and honestly I cannot fanthom why anyone would not, but anyhow. HD requires an oval dish whether its a $2K travler with its limitations or a $200 dollar ground based tripod mounted one. You still must have an oval dish. Send back the dome. It will do you no good for DirecHD. BYW, evenmif you did go with a dome and DirecSD the dome will be worthless in a couple of years when Direct drops all SD programing.
