The lower value part I'd agree with - it seems to be priced accordingly.
The spark plug deal, my level of concern would be ZERO. A few of the early V10s had the issue, very few, after '00 it seems to be a non-issue.
As to "big money to fix", there are so many kits out now for fixing them if they break getting them out that too has become not a real big deal. In the rust belt areas like I live in, corroded plugs that break coming out are common.
A cheap kit is under $8.00 on Ebay, the mid-grade kits are about $45.00, and the full blown extraction and repair kit runs anywhere from $140-$300. For anyone who has ever changed a spark plug in the rust belt states this is a quick, easy job.
