Prescott Valley is nothing like SoCal.
Growing small town, high plains.
Snow is possible in winter but does not stay long, while the cold does. Homes in town have municipal water, while the surrounding rural properties may be on wells.
You will want to review the CCR's and zoning for limitations on parking.
If you have not seen the area, make several long weekend visits twixt now & then.
