The only people who have had to cut back on water are some of the Golf Courses. Wells are only as good as the location where they are drilled. Some are good some are bad. I have two, one pumps over 50 gpm and the other is over 350 gpm. Exceeded the drillers equipment so he gave up at 350 at what his equipment was rated at. Prescott gets a little snow but nothing bad. Not too hot in the summer. Only reason we didn't settle there as the growth was too high. A lot of outdoor activities and not too far from the big city. IMHO, Prescott is no longer a small town. We we be camping there for a few days in Jan. Registration isn't bad, a lot less than CA, and I believe Prescott is Smog exempt. Insurance on home (no earthquake ins. req'd), cars & toys is less than CA. You will be making life easier on yourself. HOA's are a pain no matter where you are. Great old town Square, one of the best in AZ. Summer monsoons / thunder storms are the best.
