We hit the road and don't give a rip about fuel mileage. It's so much more relaxing that way.
Our Subaru gets good mileage, but it's uncomfortable to sleep in and the kitchen and bathroom are cramped.

I just like to be well informed. If one makes a large purchase it is good to know all you can about it. Yes I understand about traveling and not worry about it as we just got back from a 4500 mile trip and are headed out for another trip. Enjoy your trip down the road being totally uninformed if it makes you feel better.
I agree. Also with Diesel creeping towards $4 bucks a gallon, There could be several hundreds to even thousands of dollars of difference in gas costs on small to long trips.
