Excellent idea on the valves. Did you put anything on the threads? I don't know if you should or not with diesel fuel.

Well Sir, to answer your question, yep I did add Teflon tape to the threads. The reason you don't see any is because I removed the excess so the job would look better. Not sure who would care but, I thought it would just look nicer without a ton of excess tape hanging around.
