Looked into that but I also have a 9.8hp 4 stroke motor that is 82 lbs plus 3 gal gas tank, boat is as long as Jeep and lifting the boat and motor in and out of lake and on top of Jeep is not very easy.
This thread was mostly to see about building a stacker trailer, not about weight police, at most I will be just over 500 to 800 lbs, if I decided to use the stacker trailer as boat trailer also I can save 215 lbs by not bringing my boat trailer, than I would only be 285 to 485 lbs over weight.
