You probably have an early vintage of the Winegard Sensar antenna. Those were pre-HD although still work. You should Google "Winegard Wingman". It's an add-on to your existing antenna which improves the UHF band reception, which is where most of the HD TV channels are now broadcasting. The newest Sensar antenna is essentially the old one with the Wingman already added. I found it helped my HD reception, and most of the other postings are favorable.
Of course, this is after doing the connector checks and also making sure you have your antenna booster power turned on.
