My Dometic Power Awning opens unexpectedly, any ideas?

We hit the road in a couple days and would hate to have this thing try to open up on the road. Its a weather pro with a remote control. We are currently using it in Florida. We've been traveling ...

Is there no OFF switch? Our Carefree has such a switch which totally disables the awning. No power = no unexpected activation. We turn it off before starting the engine. If not, find the power lead and cut it and insert a switch.

We have not yet experienced an unexpected activation, but I can see where other remotes could cause one.
