You will need to temporarily connect the transmission cooler lines or you will be shooting a red river when you start it. Otherwise it sounds reasonable. If the engine was not broken in on the bench before it was shipped,(most likely was not), then you will want to run it at high idle above 2500 rpm for at least 20 minutes to seat the cam. Good luck with it.
