My Jamboree has 2 coach batteries and 2 chassis batteries.
It also has the remote start and boost switches in the cab and I am aware of their capabilities and uses.
I also have a voltmeter on the control panel to monitor the coach batteries.
If I fail to monitor all 4 batteries and run them down I will either get a jump start or call my backup service. But I don't see any reason to spend $1,000 on something I will most likely never use in my travels with this RV. Most of the time I will be in a park with shore power or in the boonies for very short periods of time, and I won't be bothering anyone out there with a short Onan fix. I do plan on adding a portable solar setup to day charge the batteries when I'm out & about (usually on a motorcycle).
