:B With more than 25 years of mostly dry camping in the deserts in California and Mexico I found that having a back up plan like the Jump-n-Carry just makes sense.
As for the sewer hose, a lot of people carry an extension, like a extra 10 footer. I have a 15 foot RHINO that has worked out well and have had only 1 time that I needed a longer run.
I just waited until I left then moved few feet to dump. It is a personal choice and depends on where you do most of your camping. Start with the 15 footer then if needed get more. Plus one of These also are very handy to see what is going down....
