I also started on installing a transmission cooler.
The cooler that I am installing is a Hayden Ultra Cooler model 405 - I bought mine at HERE at O'Reileys Auto Parts-
The cooler size is 3/4 X 10 X 15-7/8 Inch and will really help the 4L80E tranny (MT1 code) stay cool.
I took off the grill and there was the water mister manifold the previous owner installed-
The previous owner said he installed this system to spray a mist of water onto the radiator when driving in the desert. He told me this really helped cool off the engine on those brutally hot days in the Mohave Desert.
I won't be needing this so out it came-
Tomorrow I will finish the install....
