Well, I couldn't leave well enough alone.
My Avalanche has one trans cooler and when towing through the mountains the trans temp gets up to 205F, so I decided to add an additional trans cooler since it's an easy to do, inexpensive addition.
I bought some additional 3/8 ID hose, hose clamps, a Hayden cooler attachment kit and these brass 90 degree fittings-

The Hayden attachment kit was necessary because I had to move the cooler & this meant cutting the radiator zip ties.
Here are the two coolers installed-

The coolers are mounted with their inlets & outlets at the top as I found in my research that this is the preferred orientation in order to avoid trapped air.

I then painted the new cooler to help it blend in behind the grill -

Then I reinstalled the grill and took it for a ride to check for leaks & level.
Now I just have to install the trans temp gauge.
