That is why I went with the Quickie Flush. I have seen 2 failures on the Tornado. One was my Son-In-Laws that failed on the plastic connector as ronfisherman has said.
The other was his friend that camps with us, his failed at the Tornado part. It broke loose and all he had left was a straight stream coming out doing no good at all. He watched it go down the drain thru his clear connector. They both replaced it with a Quickie Flush.
With my luck and Murphy's Law, Anything that can go wrong — will go wrong.:) I opted to go with the Quickie Flush,No moving parts to break. so I didn't have to do it twice.
Who knows they may have fixed all those problems by now. When I installed mine the Tornado didn't come with the metal hose connector.
