mssmith,
Well Sir, it's kind-a ironic that you had this happen to you because, a short story.
We were camped in Grizzly RV park, in West Yellowstone and, the wife and I were cruising around in the camp on our bicycles. We came upon a nice coach, can't remember just what make and model but, I do remember that it was in the higher end category. Well, guess what, we also saw a small waterfall emminating from the roof and rain gutters, close to the middle of the coach.
Well, we banged on the door, and, no answer. We looked around and saw no one near by. There was nothing I could do at that point so, we jumped back on the bikes and, were going to make a bee-line to the front office to notify them, so that they maybe could look up the space number and maybe get a phone number of the occupying folks.
On the way to the office, a couple was walking along, in between rows. Just for a remote possibility, I stopped them and asked them if they had that model coach and, were parked in that space. Their reply, "Yes, why do you ask". Well, after about 5 seconds of explanation, they both took off running and, THEY WEREN'T YOUNG!!!!
The next thing we saw, was a company with a vacuum truck (disaster restoration company) parked next to them and, a whole ton of carpet, throw rugs, and other floor laid components, all over their campsite.
He too had put a garden hose into the "flush" part of his dump system and, he too had "forgot about it".
So, yes, you already realize that you could have had the same exact catastrophe. You got lucky on that one Pal. Whew!
