So this 2008 gulfstream vista cruiser 4230 followed me home. Should I keep it?? ?? my real question is where is the hot water heater bypass on these? I know its June but just trying to learn ever...

It's possible (though doubtful) that it never had a water heater bypass. They aren't quite universal.
It would be someplace near the water heater--possibly on or right next to it, possibly somewhere in the plumbing between it and the nearest fixture. On my (non-Gulfstream) class C, it's underneath one of the lower drawers in the kitchen; I have to remove the drawer to get access to it.
