My new to me 2011 Jayco 31SS has no spare tire?

Our Jayco (signature) had a spare, mounted to a bracket on the square tube bumper. I found that the brackets welded to the tube to bolt to the frame were cracking. Welded the cracks, but now the spare's under the bed. Those tube bumpers aren't very strong. That heavy tire/wheel assembly, mounted on a bracket that gives it leverage to stress everything.
