One poster mentioned removing a rear dual to use in the event of a front tire flat. Not a good idea, even if it would fit - with aluminum wheels, only the inner steel OEM wheel will work up front - as you will grossly overload the remaining tire, quite possible causing it to blow. Just my $0.02.

Ford or Alcoa Aluminum wheels can be used in any position. Only difference between them is which side is polished, and you can't run 2 together because the stock studs are not long enough.
