My coach was ordered without a spare and it never occurred to me to ask for one before the purchase was completed. (What was I thinking?)
Anyway, how to deal with the issue since I agree I need to carry something.
Since the bolt patterns must be different, which wheel do you mount the spare tire on, a front or a rear?
If you have the spare tire mounted on a front wheel but suffer a flat on one of the rears, won't roadside assistance need to dismount both the flat & the spare?
Why not just carry a spare tire only without a wheel? Roadside assistance would then only need to remove the flat & mount the spare.
Does this make sense?
