I did the same thing with a MH I purchased. I went through the guy that does my auto repair work. He ordered a new wheel through Ford going by the VIN (at a considerable savings from buying by Ford on my own )and mounted a new tire on the wheel. It wasn't particularly cheap at $485, but at least I have something for when/if I get a flat.
I was thinking of putting mine under the coach also, but I had one mounted like that on a previous coach and it was a real pain to remove/replace. I also have plenty of storage areas in this MH, so I think it will just stay where it is.
