A few years back my hubby was not thrilled about spending that amount of money on a Progressive surge protector for hooking up, and I simply asked him how much a new RV plus motel bill while we looked would cost ... he blinked and purchased the surge protector ! We took will not hook up directly to any post in any rv park or campground.
