Unless there is some reason someone might be out to get you you should be safe wherever you choose to go. As for the relative safety of RV Parks, campgrounds, rest stops or retail parking lots, they are ALL cross sections of people found everywhere else i the country. MOSTLY good folks with a few bad ones but you have that at home also.
