We have been broken into in the stick built house and had car thief. No thief from motor home. Stick built house is easy to get into unless you have bars installed, no roof , crawl space openings. You can get wireless security system with a cell phone. We stated the motor home gig in 1978 and are still doing it.
We have stayed as the only rig in forest campground, WalMart, shopping center, church, casino and truck stop parking lots. If A BUSINESSES we always ask permission and generally buy supplies.
Most hazardous you will do is drive it down the road.
Great way to travel if that is your bag. We rarely travel any other way.
