- Chet790ExplorerI checked found out it is for the air bags but I don't know where the controls are
- RangeriderExplorerOur Winnebago Aspect had an Air Compressor mounted underneath for our Roadmaster 9K series brake for our towed.
- ron_dittmerExplorer IIIWe have a small air compressor under he hood of our tow vehicle, used to provide vacuum assist with our Unified tow-brake system. But mounted under the hood of the motor home...I would say it supports supplemental air bag suspension for the rear axle. If that is the case, the suspension was likely upgraded by a 3rd or 4th party chassis shop, before the building of the house on it's back. This assures the pump will not be in the way during the construction of the home.
- sky_sentinelExplorerIt may be part of the system for activating/controlling the brakes on a "all 4 on the ground" towed vehicle. I have one on my Tioga that ran all the time. I don't use it, so I disconnected it. Mine is located in a basement, near the rear wheels.
- bgumExplorerNo longer used.
- BordercollieExplorerIt's probably not original equipment. Is it connected to 12 volt power and is there a switch to turn on/off? Is there a label with brand name, model number,
number and capacity info.? - 1492ModeratorMoved from Forum Technical Support
