NAPA Air Filters

Are NAPA air filters considered a good filter ,time to change my filter and was thinking about a NAPA filter instead of ordering from freightliner like I've done in the past . Any advice?
  • Here's a thought....FilterBarn.com. I've been using them for all my filter needs (MH wise) for year's now. They even carry Napa, CAT, Baldwin, Fram, Donaldson etc etc.
  • NAPA filters are good, most (all?) are WIX, which is a good filter.

With that said, I also use Filterbarn.com.

Yes, been using NAPA forever. Especially with mice, most NAPA air filters that I've used have metal screening on one side - very important for keeping mice out of the actual intake manifold!

I don't know how many manufacturers specify the metal screening, but it is good to have where I live!
  • NAPA oil and air filters do my car, pickup, motorhome. The only reason i don't use NAPA (oil filter) for my Harley is that it is not chrome.

I also use NAPA oil. (again...except for my Harley. They don't have 20-50.)

    FWIW
  • Neither Wix many others make air filters for DP's. They buy them and rebox.I would not use Wix filters on a DP. Most of the major engine mfrs. have started to sell oil filters that are enhanced. Premium. Cummins and Cat both do this. Donaldson can also supply those filters. Wix does not
