A couple of points:
Regarding Itasca vs Winnebago, there will be no difference in service between brands. They came off same production line and dealers sell both. The only difference is colors of trim.
As far as ease of maintenance, I do my own and the MB is easier to work on under the hood than my E350 was. For instance the oil filter it on top of the engine at the front.
I've never had a problem finding diesel fuel. As soon as one owns a diesel it becomes pretty obvious. The myth of diesel being hard to find is just that....a myth.
