I wouldn't add any water to your tank until you are in warmer temperatures where it only goes below freezing for a few hours at night.
When we are on the road in freezing weather, we take several one gallon milk cartons of water to use to flush the toilet, make coffee, etc. As soon as the weather is more favorable, I fill the tank and use the system. But, we have heated holding tanks and our coach is supposed to be useable in freezing weather. I just don't like taking the chance. Good luck.
