I wouldn't do it. For those kind of dollars, you'll be well on your way to paying for a complete towing 4-down system. Dollies are fine for a one-way trip somewhere, for instance if you are moving or dead heading to snowbird in South Texas, then dolly it back to Nebraska in the Spring. Jacking with a dolly all the time would get old to me.
