Need batteries

House batteries I use Trojans, deep cycle, work great. All my vehicles, 5 now, have AAA or when they need to be changed will get AAA. The same price, they install them for free, they can be

serviced anywhere in the US if you have a problem and if they go bad they replace them for free in the first 3 years. I'm done lugging batteries around. Keep in mind there are few battery

manufactures left in the US. Price is based on quality. Different suppliers order batteries and then they are made to that request. Some may cost less because they are made with fewer plates.

This info came directly from a man who worked for Johnson for many years. Sears had quite a scandal concerning their product recently.

Which battery did you go with 12v (in parallel) or 6v (in series)

We bought our View used and within a year had to replace all the batteries. I do business with AutoZone for the most part and have had no problems.

Recently I was researching golf cart batteries and is seems that the best warrantee is from Exide. Its 2 years only, but the others were less; go figure.

The vast majority of all automotive type batteries are made by Johnson Controls. The biggest difference really is the warranty that the labeling company gives.

I looked into it pretty closely a few years back when we needed batteries for my RV, boat, and houseboat. I ended up going with Costco because they had the best warranty and quite a few service points. At that time, it was a toss up between Walmart/SAMs and Costco. Personally, I would stay away from Interstate just because they will be the highest price and shortest warranty.
