what do you mean by inverter problem board problem
For many people solar alone is not enough charge power
We have roughly 649 watts of solar, and 675 amp hrs of AGM batters
And still run the generator some every day
For a long time, we couldn't control when the inverter would come to life. Crazy as that sounds we had multiple people look for the problem to no avail. We replaced the controller inside the coach, traced all wiring, etc but often when the coach was at our house not being used with all power off, the inverter would mysteriously come on which also caused the awnings to come out (programming), at any hour of the night. Finally after multiple calls to Magnum who swore the inverter could not come on without being told to, we took it to a marine shop in San Diego. They bench tested in and in 5 minutes, solved what took others 3 years to find. They replaced the $250 motherboard and it's been fine since then. To your other point though, I understand we have to run the generator at times and perhaps we don't have a battery issue at all but dropping to 11.9 from 14.7v during the day sure seems excessive! Thoughts? Are there tests I can do?
