- mkguitarExplorer"true" stainless won;'t hold a magnet.
so you need the cheap stuff...take a magnet to test material.
downside, it can also rust
at least here in AZ, every farmers market and 'art show" has dudes who do southwestern cutouts of steel, landscape, cactus, cowboys...all that stuff.
they often do steel and clear coat over it- sometimes they use a rust colour and clear over that.
it can be used as a back splash- just an alternative idea.
mike - donn0128Explorer IIBetter yet, find a sheet metal shop and ask them for a piece of stainless steel. If I remember 400 series will hold a magnet.
- lucytravel12ExplorerThanks! I didn't think it would be that easy!
- DutchmenSportExplorerFind a sheet of metal from Lowe's or Home Depot. Have them cut it to size. Simply use Liquid Nails and "glue" it to the wall. Liquid Nails will last forever.
