They came back with wanting just about 109k (from 141 MSRP), told them not going to work, they said all they can do. Guess not going to happen.
Yep, we experienced pretty much the same thing with the Allegro model, jlud. Price was just too far out of our budget, even with a big discount off MSRP.
Like I mentioned to you in PM, I just flat out REFUSE to sink six figures into a depreciating asset, a toy, basically. That pretty well ruled the Allegro out (and anything of the diesel variety).
Ultimately, we liked the Georgetown 351DS floorplan better anyway. That curbside kitchen slideout the Allegro 35QBA has, we really did not like. It takes away a good bit of outside under the awning space. Nor did we like the recliner chair being behind the main door. Like it much better being right behind the passenger seat.
I agree with willald. A Georgetown is a much better deal. We had a 2011 Georgetown TS378. It was worth every penny we paid for it compared to an Allegro or Winnebago and Georgetown backs their units as good as anyone. We loved our Georgetown but wanted a diesel pusher.
