I once had a GM car with a 454 and found it hard on spark plugs, that is,
AC Delco plugs would start mis-firing at higher rpm & under high load quit soon.
I found NKG plugs stood up longer or more miles , says 7000 miles use, before
starting to mis-fire under high work load and rpm.
