That's a big job for sure! Best of luck to ya! We stripped all the carpet from ours last year due to an undiscovered leak inside the rear closet that had completely soaked under the bed and along the wall....had to remove EVERYTHING to get all the wall-to-wall carpet out. Fortunately there was no structural damage. BUT, we replaced it with FLOR brand carpet squares and love it! The carpet squares are rated for industrial/commercial use and are floating, so if we spill something or one gets damaged, all we have to do is pull up that one square and replace it. Pound for pound, it's about the same weight as the vinyl flooring and it's much warmer and better feeling underneath bare feet.
