Ten year rule at many big RV parks is a good point,If you are considering a Sprinter, from 2008 the dualies have been used ie my PW 2006 is single rear wheels and under 22 ft.The later ones are from 22ft 9ins to 24ft or so. This affects parking in small malls as well as lower MPG.A rig which is a couple of years old has a lot of the depreciation off the original price.Condition of RV with full service records, history ie Carfax for example is important regardless of the age of the vehicle. I bought my 2006 in 2012 and saved at least 60,000$.But certainly, many people have much older units which are in top shape and drive well. Spares depend where you live and what is available.I carry extra oil, fuses, bulbs and so on and pray before I go on a trip!!
