Tiffin has had more than their share of problems with design and build quality and from what I have read elsewhere, their Red Bay facility is bursting at the seams with repairs to their products. Do other motorhomes have issues also? Yes, most do, but for the most part the issues are minor.
It is interesting when this discussion arises that the vast majority of posters are people who have units that are more than five years old. The one poster who has a new unit with an issue sounds more like an issue with the dealer than the manufacturer. I don't think I would paint all manufacturers with the same broad brush of poor quality when it tends to be more of an issue with certain manufacturers rather than the industry.
If you have ever bought or built a new home, you know that there are many issues that arise and the "punch list" is common on all construction projects and RV's are no different. There will be some issues and most of them will be very minor in nature.
