- hankoExplorerThe tiffin gas jobs come with MSW, A PSW is optional
- chuckftboyExplorerMine came standard with Magnum PSW, Maybe because of the residential refrigerator or Sony Flat screens
- Blaster_ManExplorerThe higher priced coaches have Pure Sine Wave. Don't know where the price point is where they change, I'm sure all manufacturers are different.
- accsysExplorerTiffin Phaetons and above have come with PSW inverters since at least 2013.
- DSDP_DonExplorerIn the past, pure sine wave inverters were substantially more expensive. Our last DP, 2005 Monaco Diplomat, came with a modified sine wave Magnum inverter. Since then, many of your new coaches are now coming with residential refers. The majority of those refers require pure sine wave. The prices have also come down on pure sine wave inverters or at least the differential between MSW and PSW prices have grown closer together.
I think any coach you see with a residential refer will be PSW and the majority of the others will probably trend toward PSW too. - pulsarExplorerIn the recent years prior to 2015, the Winnebago Journey and Itasca Meridian came standard with a 2000W MSW inverter. As part of the residential refrigerator option, a 2800W pure sine wave inverter was included.
The 2015 models came standard with a residential refrigerators and the 2800W Magnum PSW inverters.

That will vary by the coach so you will have to ask.
Of course. I realize that. But, this question is to settle some camp fire discussion. My buddy says that only MSW inverters come as standard equipment from any manufacturer. That NONE of them use PSW. I disagreed. I figure there had to be some manufacturers using PSW. So, I went and tried to look it up, but they do not say MSW or PSW in their brochure.
So, they only way to find out was to ask here on RV.NET.
I realize the MSW is much cheaper. So, most manufacturers probably do use MSW. But, I figured there must be a reason that some use PSW. - hankoExplorerMine came with a trip lite modified sign wave, I changed to a magnum 2000 watt PSW

This is the only answer to this. Each mfgr uses a different inverter/charger. Mine has a Tripplite RV750ULHW. It is MSW. - 45RicochetExplorer
