I think the 200 watts is fine. Thats what I have. I have 300 amp hours of battery capacity, but 225 should do (2 6 volts). If I'm in a mild climate I usually do not need to run generator at all on a trip. I think w/ 200 watts solar and conservation you will not need to run generator 1-3 hours per day. Two biggest areas of savings: LEDs, and keeping furnace time down. If you're up you want to be comfy, but asleep you can use blankets. I run mine in the mid 50s at night and I know others who keep it even cooler.
